Travis Kelce has stated that Taylor Swift is definitely not urging him to retire from the Kansas City Chiefs. He said that she takes pleasure in cheering him on and watching him pursue his dreams. Taylor Swift doesn’t seem to want the Chiefs player to immediately return home to her.

As per Travis Kelce, the singer of “Karma” isn’t actually pushing him to give up his NFL jersey and retire from the Kansas City Chiefs. “She’s wholeheartedly encouraging me to relish playing this game,” Travis disclosed on the Stephen A. Smith Show on January 15. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and attending the games to root for me. I have all the support I need to keep chasing these dreams.”

The NFL tight end also believes that having such stability in his personal life and Taylor’s support throughout the season has undoubtedly made him a better player this season. “That’s the wonderful thing about being in a strong relationship,” Travis elaborated. “You receive the support that allows you to focus on your work and be the best version of yourself.”

In fact, this was the reason the 35-year-old made sure to attend as many of Taylor’s Eras Tour performances as possible. He said, “I wanted to be at the concerts to support her and ensure she felt comfortable and supported in everything she does in life.”

“I think I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player I can be, week after week for this team,” Travis added. “And it’s because I don’t have to worry about off-field matters.”

Throughout their relationship, Travis and Taylor haven’t been hesitant to publicly support each other, which Taylor has been extremely grateful for. “When a relationship is public, it means I’ll see him do what he loves,” the 35-year-old told Time in 2023. “We show up for each another, and we don’t care that others are around.” Taylor continued, “The opposite would be going to great lengths to keep the relationship a secret.
